Every time you accept a payment, we charge an all-in fee for each successfully completed transaction. Because we charge per transaction, you only ever pay for what you use. There are no setup, monthly or hidden fees; you don’t even need a merchant bank account to get paid. Enable any of our features at no additional cost.

Pricing Structure


Instant EFT 2.0% (minimum R2.00)
Credit & cheque cards 3.5% plus R2.00 per transaction
MasterPass 3.5% plus R2.00 per transaction
Debit cards 3.5% plus R2.00 per transaction
SCode 4.5% plus R5.00 per transaction

Using the table above, calculate the percentage of the total transaction amount. Some payment methods have an additional fixed fee per transaction that has to be added. Our fees are excluding VAT, to calculate your fee including VAT, you’ll need to add 15%.

Absolutely. You can register with ePay to receive payments as an individual/sole proprietor, as a registered business or as a registered charity.
No. Since all payments are made on ePay’s servers to eZaga many integrated accounts, you don’t need a costly merchant account or SSL certificate for your website. If you have these, no problem! After the funds have cleared in your eZaga account, you can bank on eZaga’s Portal.
We try to eliminate all barriers of entry to selling online and you can technically start accepting payments on the same day as registering with us (if all your documents are in order, of course). You will need to register an account with us, which should take you between two and five minutes. After this, you’ll need to verify your details with us by uploading some documents on your account. We verify these documents within 24 hours. You can then add ePay into your website or eCommerce platform..
All funds processed reflect immediately in your eZaga ePay account, but not in your linked bank account. You can log into your eZaga ePay account and click the Transfer button to move the funds to your bank account or set up Scheduled Payouts. Funds are eligible to be paid out after a 48 hour security and fraud review holding period.
