Response: The account holder must check for SMS’S on the phone number he used when registering for NSFAS.

If still no SMS is received, WhatsApp eZaga on 078 968 7354 or Call 086 999 0927.

If the account was approved the call center will need to change the cell number and give the account holder their account number on the phone.

Response: You can register via the online Portal on a computer/Laptop which has a webcam.

Response: South African ID document.

Register Online it is a simple process. If you encounter problems, WhatsApp eZaga they’ll kindly assist you.

When registering your NSFAS Account, please follow the steps below: ✅
Step 1: Follow the link Register Now
Step 2: Enter your address and security question & Answer
Step 3: Take a clear picture of your latest ID document (Front image of ID)
Step 4: Take a picture of you holding your latest ID document under your chin
Step 5: Await approval SMS from eZaga

 

In order for minors to register  we require the following

1, Parents’ ID to be uploaded

2, Parents selfie holding their ID document under their chin

3, uploaded picture of an unabridged birth certificate

4, Proof of address not older than 3 months

5, signed consent form and upload.

1. Dial *120*1109#

2. Insert your temporary password 12345 which you received via SMS.

3. Create your own username and password.

You will then be logged into your account via our USSD.

Step 6: Now reset your own ATM PIN

Step 4 Enter the amount you would like to send.

Step 5 Click on ”Process” and enter the OTP which you will receive vis SMS.

Please await 1hour to receive your Nedbank ewallet voucher number.

(If you have not received your voucher after 1 hour, Kindly dial *120*001#, Select ”Skip”, Then select option 4 which is ” Get cash voucher”)

Withdraw your money at any Nedbank ATM or Pick n Pay, Shoprite, Checkers, Boxer, OTT Merchant and Usave stores.

Response: Yes, the NSFAS Mastercard is a bank account, and you can receive an EFT from any bank in South Africa.

Response: EFTs can be processed using both the eZAGA online portal and the Mobile APP.

Step 1:  Login to the eZaga App

Step 2:  On the home screen tap on “Pay Recipient”

Step 3: Under “Select beneficiary” tap on the magnifying icon

Step 4: Tap on “Send to New Beneficiary” icon on the right

Step 5: Add the beneficiary details and tap on “Add” to save

Step 6: Under “Select beneficiary” tap on the magnifying icon choose your beneficiary and amount

Response: There is no limit, however you will need to adjust your limits on your banking app.

EFTS Take 1-2 days to reflect in your beneficiary account.

Cut off times are:

Mon – Friday: 14:00 PM

Sat: 10:00 AM

Sun Payments will be paid on Monday file.

How to make an EFT on the eZaga App:

 

Step 1:  Login to the eZaga App

How to reset your Password on the eZaga App

Step 1:  Open the eZaga App Tap on “Forgot Password”

Step 2:  Enter your “Username” then Tap on Reset Password

Step 3: Enter your “Security Answer entered on registration” then tap on Reset Password

Step 4:  A temporary Password is sent to your mobile number via SMS

Step 5:  Enter the new Password to login to your account

Step 1:  Login to the eZaga App

Response: NSFAS anticipates that monthly payments will be processed by the 25th of each month. Beneficiaries will be notified via mobile phone when funds are deposited into their accounts.

How Do I activate my Master Card?

Response 1: Account Holder must login on the app, click on cards and select ACTIVATE. Enter the card pin received on SMS. Mastercard will then be activated and ready to use

Response: Most ATMs in South Africa accept your NSFAS Mastercard.

What should I do if my card is lost or stolen?

Response: Contact the eZaga Call center immediately on 086 999 0927 or send us a Whatsapp on 073 264 7807 or Log into your App and block your card.
